Snider High School is breaking new ground with a game-changing $30 million investment in its athletic future, a state-of-the-art, 4,400-seat football stadium that promises to elevate the game-day experience for athletes, students and the entire community. Coming Fall 2026.


What to Expect

  • New multi-sport stadium for varsity/JV football, track, soccer and marching band

  • 4,400-seat stadium with press box

  • Vented rubber track and synthetic turf field

  • Expanded parking

  • Expansion of existing physical education building

  • New concession and restroom facility

  • Relocation of tennis courts to Lane Middle School

  • New track storage building

  • Practice soccer field at Long Road for Snider Boys/Girls Soccer

Timeline

Spring 2025

  • Girls Tennis will continue on existing courts at Snider

  • Construction begins on new tennis courts and parking lot at Lane Middle School

  • Work on Snider campus begins after Girls Tennis and Spring Track seasons

March 10, 2025

  • Board approval for remaining construction work

Summer/Fall 2025

  • Football continues using practice field and PE building

  • Freshman and JV Football will play "home" games offsite (location TBD)

  • New Lane parking lot used for contractor staging; alternative parking needed for Boys Fall ‘25 and Girls Spring ‘26 tennis seasons

Fall 2025

  • Boys Tennis will use new courts at Lane Middle School

Spring 2026

  • Boys and Girls Track teams will practice and host meets offsite (locations TBD)

Summer 2026

  • Reed Road improvements begin, including relocation of crosswalk light

Fall 2026

  • New stadium opens, hosting inaugural Snider Home Football and Soccer seasons
